a different type of day

In twenty plus years of teaching, I have never had the TV on as much as I had today. Options were given to do plant type things, but until the big event was over, we all sat and watched. One rule was rigorously enforced... no bashing the other side.

I don't think I have ever watched an inauguration before.

May those who are feeling hope, cling to it for the rest of their lives.

It is a great thing.

Seems like all schools had their televisions on today. A good thing in my opinion. I am glad my highschooler was able to see the inauguration.

tina--- thanks for stopping by. Did you get to see it? I found the whole process quite interesting.

Bits and parts of it. Kind of overload but I was happy all day about it. Except the news on Ted Kennedy. That was a downer.

Unfortunately I was busy dealing with a sick animal at the vet that day. My son had the day off from school since they predicted snow that we never got.

PerrennialG--- hope the animal is doing better. and that the predicted snow continues to miss you, unless you want it.

IGW--- thanks for the visit. and the kind words about the aloes.
